The Bride

I’m trying to get used to calling myself “The Bride!”

A little bit about me…

I am from Cedar Bluff, Mississippi, and was homeschooled from preschool through high school (this is how Ryan & I met!). After graduating from high school, I received a B.S. in Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion through Mississippi State University. During my senior year at MSU, I had the opportunity to host a healthy cooking segment on WCBI-TV (our CBS station out of Columbus, MS) each Wednesday morning. This healthy segment has turned into a healthy cooking business called Cooking with Ellen with a weekly e-newsletter and a website – http://www.cookingwithellen.com – I’ve written a healthy cooking cookbook and also work as the dietitian at two nursing homes (Choctaw County Medical Center & Winston Medical Center) through Valley Services, inc.

My hobbies… Exercising, healthy eating, spending time with Ryan, sharing joy with others, cooking (esp new recipes), planning (for whatever it may be!), listening to Christian music, etc

I met Ryan almost ten years ago and am now head over heels in love with him!

God has blessed me so much over the past year that sometimes I just want to cry I’m so thankful to Him!
